While being light on price and big on features, the D-102 DataFast Light
is the long wished for simple tool that will speed the process of getting
systems out the door.
The D-102 DataFast Light is designed to be used as a stand-alone IDE
duplication system to selectively copy program software and data from one
master source drive to two target disk drives, in parallel. Ideal for small
volume applications, its intelligent copy mode enables the custom configuration
of drives, including partitioning and formatting during the duplication
process. It is compatible with DOS, Windows 95 and NT, OS/2, and UNIX operating
systems, which allows maximum flexibility to meet your customer needs.
The D-102 DataFast Light reliably transfers data to the target disk
drives as fast as the IDE interface allows. The duplication process, including
formatting and verification, operates at less than 3 seconds per megabyte.
If 100 megabytes were to be duplicated to two 1.6 GB disk drives simultaneously,
duplication time would be less than 5 minutes for both drives!
The D-102 DataFast Light is offered as a compact, low-cost, disk duplicating
unit. The basic system includes the D-102 unit, software and cables (monitor,
keyboard and mouse to be customer supplied). A complete system includes
the D-102 unit, software, cables, mini-monitor, mini-keyboard and mouse.
