BCE 62IE Product Features:
BTC Rewritable drive BCE 62IE is a new high performance
IDE interface CD-RW drive that is the first to
implement the ATAPI-IDE standard for connection of CD-RW drive and peripherals
to personal computers.
BCE 62IE can automatically recognizes the media to be used in drive. CD,
CD-R or CD-RW. Available application include read and pre-mastering on
CD-R or CD-RW, plus file system (drag and drop) for
archiving, data interchange and back-up, on both CD-R and CD-RW. User-friendliness
is further enhanced as BCE 62IE can be used as a PnP (Plug and Play)
CD-ROM drive for all PC operation system
such as Windows 95 and Windows NT. A Standard ANSI MMC (Multimadia
Command) set is also featured. Operational versatility is extended by BCE
62IE supporting all writing mode and CD formats
(CD-DA, CD-ROM etc, include CD-UDF as standardized by OSTA).
* By using IDE interface to allow the BCE 62IE to support
software system with MS
Windows 95. The CD-RW software packages give users the possibility to archive,
distribute or create their own CDs (CD-ROM/XA), CD Bridge, Multi-Session,
CD-I and CD-DA from their desktop.
*Available as an internal drive by using the IDE interface.
*Available as an zone-6X (read), 2X (write) speed.
