Duet Station offers an economical, low-volume fast way to copy from 1 master
to 2 target Ultra ATA/EIDE/IDE drives. Imagine copying Windows95 (50MB)
to 2 drives in just 33
seconds! Perfect for corporate, engineering, in-field department users.
Supports file-by-file and track-by-track modes for all types of operating
systems.

Duet Station duplicates software from one master
to two target drives. Designed for small office, corporate, engineering
and in-field service environments, Duet Station offers a low-cost, high
performance duplication solution to disk copying. For example, the system
copies the entire 50MB Windows 95 operating system to two drives in 33
seconds. Duet Station also supports Windows 95’s FAT 32 file protocol for
long filenames.
Track-by-track or file-by-file copy modes allow the
user the ability to copy all major PC operating systems. Users may chose
whole or partial drive copying for greater flexibility and efficiency.
Duet Station handles both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch form
factor hard disk drives. It supports Ultra ATA/EIDE/Fast ATA-2 and other
drive speed protocols. It also provides LBA/normal mode for matching the
widest capacity range of drives.
Users simply connect the master and target drives
to cables, plug in a monitor and keyboard and turn the system on. A menu-driven
software interface directs the entire disk data formatting and duplication
process. Error logging and system monitoring is also performed. A user
hot key permits changing drives between batches without restarting the
system. Two drive utilities scan the data tracks to allow partial drive
copying for more efficient operation. Duet Station is offered with a two-year
limited warranty. Cables for 3.5-inch drives are included. Duet Station
requires a minimal PCI desktop computer with floppy disk, 1MB memory, keyboard
and monitor.
